MEDIGO strives to remove barriers to healthcare for our patients. We firmly believe that education should be equally as accessible for students. We are proud to offer a scholarship of $2,000, with the aim of supporting one promising student through their college or university degree. We are looking to reward a student who best aligns with our values of diversity and inclusion. Applicants are asked to write an essay on diversity in the workplace. Other Criteria

Essay topic Question: How should a company ensure that all nationalities, races and cultures are celebrated and integrated in an office environment? Please produce an essay of 800-1,200 words. Applicants should write about two examples of how a company has managed diversity in the workforce. The student should then come up with one original idea themself. Briefly explain all three ideas and then evaluate in detail why you think they are good examples. Applicants are free to include images if they’d like. The essays will be evaluated based on the following criteria: 1. Creativity of the student’s approach 2. Student’s ability to craft an essay 3. Relevance of essay to its topic Applicants must be enrolled, or have been offered a place, at a university or college in the United States of America. Applications should be submitted by September 1st. The essay should be written in English. Applications must be original – each essay will be scanned for plagiarism. The essay can be sent, along with any questions about the scholarship, to scholarship@medigo.com. The essay should be formatted as a Microsoft Word or PDF attachment. The student’s name, email and date of birth and the name of the university or college the student is enrolled at/plans to attend must be included in the body of the email. Please also attach to the email, proof of student status (e.g. scanned copy of your dated student ID front and back, registration receipt, class schedule, acceptance letter, etc.). The winner, along with their university, will be emailed and announced on the MEDIGO website on October 1st. The student will then be sent the money directly via bank transfer.
