Two PhD studentships to explore reception of Thucydides since the Renaissance. One student would research reception of Thucydides within historiography, and the other within social and political theory/philosophy.
Applicants must have completed a first degree and either be studying for or have completed relevant Masters. Good command of ancient Greek and one modern European language desirable.
