POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP The Smart Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory (Smart CPS Lab) at Korea University of Technology and Education (Koreatech) is seeking an exceptional and innovative individual with a doctoral degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields to work with the ongoing projects. QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields 2) Those who have research experiences in 3) Task scheduling and resource allocation in multi-agent systems 4) Deep Reinforcement Learning for task scheduling with multiple objectives 5) Ontology-based semantic search for federation of heterogeneous sources 6) Concurrency control methods on shared object manipulation are preferred 1) Those who can work full-time for Smart CPS Lab at Koreatech (www.koreatech.ac.kr) 2) Those who have research accomplishments as same as below 3) Three or more papers as a first or a corresponding author published in SCI(E) related to the aforementioned research experiences within 5 years 4) An ability to work independently and collaborate effectively 5) Those who have working experiences with Korean are preferred 6) Strong coding skills in Python 7) Good communication and writing skills in English

Other Criteria

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Publish at least 2 academic papers per year as a first author in SCI(E)-indexed journals with Professor Won-Tae Kim of Smart CPS Lab as a corresponding author 2) Develop new system architectures and algorithms to support research projects 3) Contribute or lead to the analysis of data generated by experiments 4) Contribute or lead to the writing of scientific articles 5) Assist with the development of research proposals FELLOWSHIP DURATION: The initial appointment is for periods over 1 year, with the possibility of an extension based upon performance and availability of funding.
