Funding in Canada

Are you currently studying in, or considering Canada as a destination for studying abroad? It is the 4th most popular destination for international students around the world, after all. Like any destination, studying abroad can prove to be expensive. Fortunately, International Student Loan has a dedicated page where you can learn more about loan options in Canada, and you can even check if you would be eligible based on your circumstances.

Stress-Free Budgeting for International Students

Did you miss the YouTube live event IEFA did in partnership with International Student Insurance? Don’t worry - you can catch up right here and learn from Sally and Al’s conversation about budgeting as an international student.

Women in Tech Scholarship

Did you know that women make up less than 30% of the workforce in tech careers? Now a featured scholarship is offering 100 opportunities for women across the world to advance their careers in tech. These are 100% (full-fee waiver) scholarships for the Data Science and Full Stack Development Career Programs.

Applications are now open for ambitious women who have recently graduated, those about to graduate and even women seeking a career change.

What is the Loan Application Process?

If you don't qualify for federal loans or if they are not enough to help you cover all your expenses, you might choose to apply for a private student loan.

But you might not know what to expect when applying for this kind of funding.

From learning what you need to do before you apply, understanding the application and credit check, to receiving and ultimately repaying your loan our guide will guide you through everything you need to know.

Financial Aid Explained: Net Price

Net Price is an estimate of the actual cost that a student will need to pay to cover education expenses to attend a particular school for a year. The net price is determined by taking the institution’s cost of attendance and subtracting any scholarships or grants the student will receive.
