The program is open to US doctoral candidates and scholars who have earned their Ph.D. in fields in the humanities, social sciences, or allied natural sciences and wish to conduct research of regional or trans-regional significance. Fellowships will be awarded to U.S. citizens only.
Fellowship tenure must be of at least 90 days duration for doctoral candidates and post-doctoral scholars and at least 60 days duration for Masters students. The fellowship tenure need not be continuous.
